The love story began in the ‘60s when the villa was planned and built. A magnificent townhome with all the amenities was created at request of the owner family. In 2011, the owners redesigned and addressed the interiors. As cosmopolitans familiar with many styles of living, they created a way life usually found only in the Hamptons.
In particular, the consistently held color scheme of all the rooms is responsible for ensuring that a beauty arises that robs each guest of breath at the first visit. At the second visit even...
The colors range from black, white and natural, just as it would be seen in the summer residences of the American upper class then and now. This refers not only to the interior design, but was consciously adhered to outside: the view of the villa reflects exactly this color contrast.
The house is large with 600 square meters of floor space, and yet it exudes an atmosphere full of comfort and security, what can be a home a place. Countless details have been taken into account when redesigning the rooms and functionality was never disregarded. Next to the American style kitchen is a small working kitchen, and in front of the island there is a showcase for the presentation of the food.
As the planning phase began, it was from the two separate apartments on two floors that were used to create a living room with an interior staircase. And so, giving a slightly curved wooden staircase as tailor-made suite, which was fitted exactly in this part of the house. It is a masterpiece of carpentry skill. This stunningly beautiful staircase can feel like something for the Kennedys.
But the house has even more wonderful woodwork: the lamp of Rien once were taken up and continued consistently throughout the house. Internals from the year of the villa were taken up for a bar and dressings. The interior has been preserved and the front has been adjusted for current style. "If something is very good, there is no reason to replace it."
Upstairs, which is accessed via the black / white wooden stairs is the living level. A lounge area with kitchenette for cool drinks, a large bookcase with a reading corner and the home cinema area to relax. Each of the beautifully appointed bedrooms of the home has a private bathroom with all amenities and its own dressing.
As part of the updates, a gym has been newly created by the spa in the basement with pool and sauna rounded down to the ground floor level. After long walks in all kinds of weather with dirty quadrupeds, a dog room is ready, where dirt can be washed from the paw before it proceeds to a cozy square in front of the fireplace.
And so, a place very singular tranquility arose, fabulously beautiful, aesthetically brilliant and unique in the region. A Love Story.
